Meena’s profile said: “Traditional outside, fun inside!” Arun was instantly curious. Oru kind of vibe irundhuchu  like seeing an Ilaiyaraaja song in real life.

Their first chat started with horoscope, but quickly moved to sambar-vs-kootu wars and their favorite Sunday TV shows from childhood. Arun said, "Naama rendu perum Doordarshan-la valandhavanunga pola irukku!"
Meena laughed: "Naan unga veetukku pakathula dhaan thirumba poren pola irukku!"

Their families connected easily  both were middle-class, rooted, and dreamed of a peaceful life filled with respect, rituals, and rasam.

When they first met, Meena wore the same bright saree seen in this photo. Arun stood silently for a second and then said, “Neenga dhaan en pondatti-nu feel varudhu.”

Adhu dhan. Moonji la smile, heart-la calm.

Their wedding happened at their ancestral home. No grand halls, just soul-soothing simplicity. The entrance in this photo that’s where they started a new chapter, walking together in sync.

Now, every morning, they walk around the same vasal holding hands. Same house, same kadhal, but every day feels new.
